Zero Tolerance Offensive

zero tolerance offensive - for the weapons of our warfare 2 Corinthians 10:4

Zero Tolerance Offensive

Zero Tolerance Offensive… You’re in a battle. Like it or not, it’s happening every day. There are forces at work that are actively trying to derail your life and destiny. I say it’s time for the gloves to come off and for you to stop trying to live peaceably with this enemy.

There is an enemy. There is an intelligent, active, malign force working against us. – Steven PressfieldSteven Pressfield, author of one of my new favorite books ‘Do The Work‘, says it this way, “There is an enemy. There is an intelligent, active, malign force working against us.” This intelligent and malign force shows itself any time we begin to step into the extraordinary.

Peace Is Deception

My brother had a problem with dandelions in his beautiful lawn. He cut them all the way off, he sprayed them, he even tried using a blow torch and burning them. – apparently this is not as strange as it sounds?

The problem with weeds though is that, unless you utterly destroy them – leaves, flowers, roots, seeds and all – they’re going to come back again and again. Even when it looks like you’ve won the battle and the yard is free, their sinister little roots are working their dark weed magic beneath the surface and preparing to come back with a vengeance.

The enemy of your purpose is the same. There are no peaceful terms with this enemy. It’s only desire is for the destruction of your destiny. Unless you completely remove it’s every foothold in your life, it will come back again and again.

What Are You Tolerating?

I love what I’ve often heard Pastors Danny and Jillian Chambers say, “What you tolerate, you authorize to exist in your life.” It’s absolutely true! As human beings, created in God’s image, and as believers in particular, we are much more powerful than we often understand.

What you tolerate, you authorize to exist in your life. – Danny & Jillian ChambersWe often tolerate unbearable pressure in life because we believe that our problems are bigger than we are. Sometimes they may be, but just like I mentioned in a recent post, Throwing Rocks at Giants, “God does awesome things for people with the audacity to start throwing rocks at giants!”

You just have to reach the point where you become absolutely intolerant of the enemy in your life. So how bout it, what are you tolerating? Is it addiction? Is it fear of pursuing your dreams? Is it a caustic relationship? Is it an Everest sized pile of debt?

No More Nice Guy

Why not make today a monumental and historical day in your life? Seriously, did you have something better planned??? Why not remember this day forever as the day you stopped trying to live at peace with your enemy and chose to absolutely obliterate it instead!?!

Why not make today a monumental and historical day in your life? Seriously, did you have something better plannedYou have the option right now to embrace a zero tolerance offensive and start rising above any obstacle in your life. Here’s what I believe, At the exact moment when you stop hesitating and finally fully commit, that’s the moment you find the miraculous.

I already said you’re created in the image of God, and because of that there aren’t many obstacles that you can’t overcome if you fully commit to the win. If you’re a believer and have asked Christ into your life, then you’ve taken it to the next level and actually have the entire nature and power of God just waiting to be expressed through your life.

As a simple act of resolve right now, I challenge you to call out whatever enemy you’re facing in life and tell it to start running because you’re bringing the fight to him. For real, do it… now!

I’d love to agree with you in prayer about whatever enemy you’ve decided to crush like an ugly cockroach. Tell me about it and let’s do it together!

    “Get Thee Behind Me”
yep you’ve hit the nail on the head with the standing up to the
opposition and you will see the miraculous. Love the analogy of the dandelions
and as someone with a rather large yard to maintain in the NC summers I
recognize the picture you painting. By the way if you or your brother finds the
answer concerning the actual weed eradication then I’m all ears. lol Have a great week, Tim
