Sunday Dreaming

I’m getting ready to go into a photo session at Arrington Vineyards in Nashville. I’ve Pulled off highway 96 at a vacant lot with a beautifully decaying yellow painted brick building. I’m already conspiring to bring the couple over here after we shoot at the vineyard for a few urban/rustic shots. They’re a pretty fun couple so I’m guessing they’ll be game.

This morning I had some really nice moments with God. I love it when He visits me in a close and personal way. There is nothing that can come close to comparing to it. It’s a recharge and a lifting experience every time.

Wendy is a little freaking me out lately. She’s been acting all nice and benevolent towards me. A couple of days ago she gave me a little treat ‘just because’. Then yesterday, she cleaned my office while I was at the wedding. I suspect that it’s some mind control device being tested on her by a highly advanced alien race that is contemplating enslaving humanity for earth’s resources, but I dont’ mind. She’s awesome.

As I was driving, I decided that life is designed (in part) to present us with moral delimas. God is most concerned with who we are on that inner level. Will we tell the white lie, will we hold onto resentment, will I take the second glance, and other things like that. Everything is an opportunity to be or not to be the person I’ve been called to be. I think I’m averaging about a c+ lately. :)

Back to work… almost time for the session.
