My Clementine.

Just finished watching the movie – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.  I’m sitting here at my desk now wiping away the tears.  Sometimes movies and books seem like they were pulled out of my soul and produced by someone that could only catch bits and pieces of the most prominent portions.  Like trying to reconstruct a beautiful painting that was found at the bottom of a lake and all but faded away.

Wendy is my clementine.  It’s crazy how much it seems like those two characters were casts of our lives.  Not in the details, but in the sense of who they were.  Watching it has reminded me once more than I’m completely and eternally in love with her.  She is the wrinkles in my perfectly flat piece of paper.  She is the raindrop that falls from my cloudless sky, and she is the only hand in and ocean of outstretched fingers and palms that can ever feel comfortable in my own.

Wendy, if you ever take time to read this blog… I love you.
